About

Origin

Kaipanee stands for ‘hand made’ in south Indian languages. The ethos of the brand is an ode to Indian craftsmanship, where not so long ago technology and skill were intertwined to create beautiful sophisticated products sought after the world over. Over the years, the skill remained however the technology was not upgraded. Our effort is to change this. We focus on high-skill hand-made floors but are laced with the best-in-class technology.  This results in beautiful long lasting floors. This was only possible with an equal focus on developing the skill and deep material research. With the experience gained over 15 years in laying and finishing high-quality concrete floors, Kaipanee was set up in 2020.

Micro concrete

Micro Concrete

Kaipaneē micro concrete system is created specifically for Indian environments and usage. The system has been developed to ensure the Micro concrete system performs to its best in any use case. The Kaipneē system has been designed to have very high abrasion resistance, thus giving more life to the floor.

Our cementitious system has very high flexibility and adhesion. This helps to make sure there is minimal to no cracking on the floor.

Terrazzo

Terrazzo

Terrazzo as a modern flooring material dates back almost 500 years to Venice, Italy. The stonemasons used discarded stone chips and embedded them in concrete mixtures to create beautiful decorative designs. This system is in its essence still in use today.

Kaipaneē Terrazzo system has stayed true to these roots. 60% of the terrazzo material is made from recycled materials and discarded stone slabs. While these would usually end up in landfills, the terrazzo system processes these stone aggregates, crushes it, screens it, grades it, dries it and makes it ready to be used as high quality raw materials to make beautiful products.
